It is my great honour to address you during this joyous celebration of the Chinese New Year and the Spring Festival. As the Year of the Dragon, a symbol of strength and unity, concludes, we welcome the Year of the Snake, a sign of wisdom and transformation. The International Dragon Boat Federation is proud to stand with you in honouring our ancient traditions and Qu Yuan\u2019s legacy and building a brighter future for our sport. My heartfelt thanks to my IDBF Colleagues of the Executive and Council, to our Continental Federation, to our Members, to our International Race Officials, to all the paddlers and to all our partners for your dedication to this shared vision. May the Year of the Snake bring prosperity, wisdom, and success to all. Founded in 1991, it oversees and promotes the sport of dragon boat paddling across the world.
